Woodsy Fun Scene

Hi, Today I am sharing a fun scene I made for the end of my Dies R Us Design Team term. It's been a great team to work with and a lot of wonderful dies!

I got a set of tree collage dies from Memory Box. there are 4 and you can layer all of them. I wanted to use my woodsy critters from Heartfelt Creations so I only used the two largest ones. But I will list them all so you can get on the waitlist. They are popular, I had to go on waitlist too!

I started by smooshing Distress ink on an acrylic block, sprayed it then stamped it on watercolor paper. I held my diecut (Sapling) in position for fox placement then glued it. I used pop dots between the die layers. Then I just added my images.

Frozen Disney Dies

This card was so much fun! You have to check out all the Disney dies at Dies R Us, they are so fun. Here I am using Frozen Elsa and Frozen Olaf. The shimmery overlay I got years ago to use as water. It is called Vertigo. The Elsa die has a tiny little face stamp so I did a video to give you some tips on lining it up.

I started with a SceneScape from Lavinia Stamps and then placed the Vertigo sheet over it. In hindsight I would not have glued the sides or used tape (I had to cover with side snowflakes). I cut snowflakes and all the other pieces and glued on. I show assembling Elsa in the video. I placed a bit of black behind Olaf for his mouth and buttons and shaded with N4, N2, N0 Copics

Stitiching a diecut

Hi, this is my project for my Design Team. Today and I am showcasing a great frame die from Jeanine's Art. I cut this Lace frame out as soon as it came so I could see it. I also embossed the die.

It has really nice sized holes around the oval. I was able to stitch with some glitter cord with my fingers...no needle required. Here is a closeup view. I added glue to cord ends to better thread through the holes. I used a 3, 2 pattern instead of every other one.

The flower stamp is from Gina K Designs Bold Blooms. The stamping is embossed with Ranger Platinum embossing powder. Then I glued it all onto a Kraft cardbase. That's it!
