Penguin Fun

I used one stamp from the newest Gina K Designs kit...Winter Cheer.  And the Gina K. Black Onxy ink pad for the penguins.Using the same penguin I just rotated the stamp a bit, and masked. I then drew on scarves with a pencil to make it appear like different stamps.
I colored with Copics. The snow is my homemade "Frantage" which I used white UTEE, glitter and Ice Crystals. I added some Perfect Pearls on the hats and Wink of Stella. Stickles on the scarves and backed the front panel with DCWV Glitter paper...lots of shimmer and Shine.

GKD October Blog Hop Day 2

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina, along with the Cast and Crew and Guest Designers, will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

For this first card I used Fabulous Frames and the new Peace And Joy

Patteren Paper is GKD "Merry Little Christmas"
Cardstock: Pure Luxury White, cherry red

This one was quite a challenge to photograph. I finally took it outdoors. I wish you could see it in person, it is so sparkly. I will have a hard time giving it away LOL. The top layer is acetate. The pine boughs are stamped on it with Stazon and colored with Copics on the opposite side as the stamping since Copics will smear Stazon. The bird is fussy cut and place on top of the acetate. The background layer is glossy paper with the polished stone technique. A thin layer of Diamond Stickles. The Stickles wasn't enough to adhere so I added a layer of Glossy Accents and a layer of diamond glitter then adhered the acetate.
Cardstock: Pure Luxury White, cherry red
Stamps: Peace And Joy

Pattern paper from my stash, no idea who made it.

Cardstock: Pure Luxury Kraft
Stamps: Peace And Joy

I used Festive Frame and outlined with Wink Of Luna Silver pen. Colored with Copics. I fussy cut the bird and attached with pop dots.

Cardstock: Pure Luxury White, cherry red

Fight Like A Girl Patterned Paper Pack

Fight Like A Girl Stamp Set

Here are my cards. This first one I used an Anna Griffith embossing folder and inked it with pink ink.  I added a die cut frame and branches. The butterfly is from the "Fight Like A Girl" set and I used GKD White pigment ink and white embossin powder on vellum. I colored pink on the backside just on the wing edges. The sentiment was stamped using GKD Passionate Pink ink. I used Pure Luxury heavy weight white for the card base.

I used Pure Luxury Bubblegum for the card base. I embossed my little squares with 4 different embossing folders. I did direct ink to paper over the embossed area using the GKD Passionate Pink ink and layered with white. I stamped the image on a Blossom die cut and paper pieced the bra with some of the great paper from the "Fight Like A Girl" paper pack. I also used the paper for the faux ribbon and cut out one for the sentiment embellishment.

    Fall Leaves

I made this card for a Stamptv Guest DT challenge

For my technique I did an oldie but goodie. I love the "Polished Stone" technique. (Video here)
Since it is difficult to see the great stone detail in the leaves in the photo I placed another sheet I made under the leaf card. I used Versamark to stamp on my Polished Stone and embossed in gold and distressed walnut then fussy cut. I used Stazon to stamp the acorn and sentiment.
I made the leaf shaped card with my Cameo. I embossed the popped up leaf. GinaK ribbon and button.
Leaf stamps ansd sentiment from Autumn Splendor, acorn from a grab bag and not sure which set.

    Heartfelt Creations

I made these cards for Heartfelt Creations DT call (fingers crossed:-))

Other products: Card stock from stash,  Tim Holtz watercolor paper, Tim Holtz Distressed ink (Victorian Velvet, Persimmon, Concord Grape, Peeled Paint and Pumice Stone), Stampendous white embossing powder, brads and lace bits

Make a 5X7  base of heavy card stock. Cover the front with 5X7 textured tan card stock and distress with Victorian Velvet ink.

Tear green DP leaving a few holes or dips and distressed with Victorian Velvet ink. Behind the rips add ribbon bits and DP.
For the focal image use watercolor paper. Masked the Sunkissed Fleur (HCPC 3533) stamp leaving the largest flower exposed. Ink with Versamark and emboss with white. Then Istamp the leaves and emboss in white as well.

Swipe the 3 purple Distressed inks onto craft mat and sprits with water. Using a paint brush drop in color randomly (they will blend on their own). For the leaves swipe a small amount of light green and dark, spritz with water, Drop light green into leaves, let dry and dab tiny bits of dark green. Before doing the background be sure the rest is dry first. Add Pumice Stone ink to your mat and spritz with water. Paint along the flower edges pulling out to card edge to fade. Add around leaves. Add more water to blend the edges. Add a dark purple layer of DP and distress it to mat the focal image.

Other Products: DSR Stained Glass stamp, Pure Luxury card stock, Secret Garden DP, vellum, embellishments.
Heartfelt Creations Sunkissed Fleur (HCPC 3533)
Heartfelt Creations Open Leaf (HCPC 3545)
Card stock and DP from stash

Stained Glass - Stamp the flower  (HCPC 3533) with Versamark and embossed it in silver. Cover the flower stamp  (HCPC 3533) with a mask then stamp the stained glass stamp with versa marked and embossed with silver.

Color the flower and stained glass (I used Copics). Covered the entire oval with Crystal 3D laquer.

Stamp the flower and cut out and color 6 pieces. Shape and stack 3 pieces for each flower and add a center embellishment.

4.25 X 5.5 lilac card base, 4 X 5.25 purple and white DP with a piece of green and white DP behind the glass. Cover the entire piece of both DP with velum (add glue mostly to the center where the glass will cover it and behind the area for flowers so it doesn’t show through). Adher the stained glass on the top. Add a resin birdhouse and the flowers.

    Party Decorations

Well I made my first decorations with my Cameo for my granddaughters 3rd birthday. We had the party in the park so nothing fancy.

    First her card

    Cupcake wrappers

I think my daughter ruined them by adding those picks! LOL

    The Birthday Hat

Of course we all had to wear one

    The birthday girl

Tinkerbell floating over the table. Addison informed me her sister Periwinkle was missing LOL. She is on a cupcake but she wants a big one. I will make one for her room. The sister movie is her favorite.
